Advanced Settings

Each connected marketplace has its own advanced settings: auto-markups, region selectors, default shipping policies. They all live behind the More settings affordance on the marketplace card inside the platform settings drawer.

Open Integrations

Pick a marketplace, then More settings.

Where to Find Them

  1. Open Integrations in the business dashboard.
  2. Find the Marketplaces section.
  3. Pick a connected marketplace: eBay, Shopify, Depop, Facebook, or Vinted.
  4. Open More settings on the marketplace card.

What's available varies per marketplace because each one exposes different controls. Ragpiq surfaces what the underlying platform allows.

eBay

The most settings of any marketplace today, because eBay's API is the most permissive.

  • Region. Pick which eBay marketplace you list into (AU, US, UK, etc). Useful for testing demand outside your home market.
  • Shipping / Payment / Returns policies. Required on first connect; editable here whenever they need tuning.

Region changes disconnect eBay

Switching region disconnects your current eBay account. You'll need to reconnect and re-create your Shipping, Payment, and Returns policies for the new region. See Setup.

Shopify

  • Auto-publish to online store. On by default. Every new listing Ragpiq sends is published to your Online Store channel as it lands, so shoppers can see it straight away.
  • Auto-publish to POS. On by default. Every new listing is also published to your Point of Sale channel, so the till can ring it up the moment it lists. Turn one off to keep that channel for you to manage in Shopify, or both off to choose per product yourself.
  • Sync from Shopify. Price and status changes you make in Shopify come back to Ragpiq, then out to your other marketplaces.
  • Listing style. Where brand, size and condition land, how titles read, and whether new listings go live or wait as drafts. A draft is never published anywhere until you make it active in Shopify, whatever the two switches say.
  • Consignor. One of the rows under Fields. Off by default. If a consignment app or your own reports read the consignor from a tag on the product, set it to Tag and type the shape your store uses, for example vendor_{value}, and every consigned listing carries vendor_ plus the consignor's name from then on. Your own stock never carries it. Changing a listing's consignor in Ragpiq updates the tag on Shopify.

Both auto-publish switches apply to listings sent from then on. Nothing already on Shopify is changed.

Depop, Facebook

Auto-markup, square photos and postage on Depop; delivery preferences on Facebook. New settings ship behind the same More settings drawer as we expand each integration.

Auto Descriptions

Toggle this on (it lives at the bottom of the platform settings drawer) to have Ragpiq auto-generate listing descriptions from data already on the listing. Format:

Title
Description
Product Dimensions
Condition Rating
Condition Name
SKU

When off, only your manual Description field is sent to connected marketplaces. Best for resellers who write tailored descriptions per platform.
